How we do it...
To begin with, we don't sell our own solar energy installations. Our goal is to provide you with a comparison of products and discount prices from independent, prominent and competitive installers, so that you can make an informed choice of which system best suits your individual needs and budget.
We'll address any queries you have objectively and impartially. We never show favouritism between our extensive network of installers in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Rwanda.
Once you've submitted your contact information, together with a brief description of your solar energy requirements, a Solar Choice Broker will take an aerial look at your roof using Google Earth, then call you to listen to what your solar requirements are, and do the following:
Assess your entitlement to any Government incentive or subsidy that may be applicable, depending on where you live in East Africa.
Broker a comparison of discount quotes for you from at least 3 installers that cover your area, and provide impartial guidance and information you need on product type, warranties and any other questions you have, so that you make an educated choice.
Arrange for the installer you've chosen to formalise your agreement, and then remain with you should you require assistance at every stage up to and even after installation.
Because we provide a greater volume of work to our selected installers, we're able to arrange a better price for your installation than if you dealt with them directly. The quote you are given will fully disclose your discount.
You don't have to pay us anything. If you accept the quote, the installer pays Solar Choice for our efforts.
